Many Americans who live in cold climates like to move south for the winter months. And most want to take their car with them. • Make sure any antennas or other loose items are secured, and turn off your alarm.
• If you have a car cover, remove it.
• Auto shippers usually request that an operable car has a quarter tank of gas, as well as adequate air pressure in the tires, so it can easily be driven on and off the trailer.
• Auto shipping companies advise you check on your vehicle’s coolant levels so the car doesn’t overheat in the warmer climate.
